I’m astounded by the way the Mark II has created its own mini-revolution in video. While there are still a fair number of limitations in how it captures and the lack of customized settings, it’s pretty evident that filmmakers have managed to get around these issues. And really, when you see get to see the footage through all this nice 35mm glass, it looks so good it sort of outweighs everything else.

A nice video with a fun sense of narrative that could’ve gotten hokey but never quite drifted into that territory while making great use of breaking structure.

Looking nice for the sake of looking nice without a strong element to tie everything together. Nonetheless, kudos to GB for being one of the few bands who continue to find interesting directors to shoot far-from-traditional vids.
